About Fabiola Jean-Giles, Esq.

Fabiola Jean-Gilles is a 1985 graduate of New York University and she received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Romance Languages.  She is a 1990 graduate of Seton Hall Law School.  She has been practicing law since 1991. She is licensed in both New York and Arizona. Ms. Jean-Gilles is fluent in Spanish, French and French Creole.

Her career began at Legal Services helping the Williamsburg Community in New York State.  She assisted clients in the area of Social Security Disability, Family Law and Immigration.  She was involved in the First Drug Court initiated in Manhattan Family Court; representing children and parents in all aspects of Family Law.  She later represented children and families in Drug Court in Queens, New York.  During that period, her practice included Bankruptcy, Immigration, Real Estate Transactions and Personal Injury.  Ms. Jean-Gilles was a partner at the firm of Wilens & Baker. Ms. Jean-Gilles also helped start various nonprofit organizations in New York.  Moreover, she worked for the New York City Law Department prosecuting Building Code Violations, Zoning Law, Fire Department and Department of Transportation cases.

Ms. Jean-Gilles has taught Continuing Legal Education courses in the area of Family Law to lay persons and attorneys.  She has appeared on various radio and television programs regarding our Immigration Laws.  She has been quoted in the New York Law Journal; written about immigration and has been cited by the newspaper, La Voce for her pro bono work with Day Laborers in Arizona. She has also appeared on the Ben Miranda Show.  Most recently, she was interviewed by the Arizona Republic regarding Temporary Protected Status for Haitians and appeared on Lawyers on Call on Channel 12.

About Mary E. Foreman-Harris, Esq.

Mary E. Foreman-Harris received her Juris Doctor degree from Suffolk University Law School in 1987, following a Master of Arts in Education from New York University and a Bachelor of Science in Education from City College of New York.

She is a member of the the Bronx County Bar Association and the American Bar Association. She is also a member of the ABA's Real Property, Trust and Estate Law Section Committee.

Since receiving her J.D. and admission to the bar, Ms. Foreman-Harris has worked as an associate in private law firms as well an in-house attorney for organizations. Since 1998 she has practiced privately in her law firm in the Bronx. She commonly represents clients who otherwise would not have an attorney in Family Court. Her experience includes Divorce, termination of parental rights, child abuse and neglect, custody, visitation, family offense and enforcement violation cases.

Ms. Foreman-Harris regularly attends continuing legal education classes in order to best serve her clients in the law. She is proud to assist her clients with expert legal advice and legal services.

Ms. Foreman-Harris was featured in an article in November 2009 in the Co-op City News for her social conscience and responsibility. She is committed to serving the legal needs of less-fortunate citizens.
